I Dreamed I Lived in Paradise

I dreamed I lived in paradise. Children stay young forever. Chubby toes, sticky hands hugging my neck. “Mama, I love you.” Perfect Mama. We eat mangos and drink pink lemonade and chase the waves, in and out. Tonight we’ll count the stars and dream of pink sand and hermit crabs.
